Is this it? Is the worst over? I think at this point we are all hanging on our last thread of patience. What breeds from stagnant times of isolation can yield magnificent, creative outputs. This evening will be a testimony to what the past few years have been for some of this city's most discernible post-punk artists. Uncanny Valley were having a meteoric rise before the pandemic toppled their momentum and are looking to continue on the path they set forth only a few, short years ago. Rhythm of Cruelty needs no introduction, as their visceral cold wave droning has been a staple of the Edmonton underground for over a decade now. They are compared to none and are surpassed by few.
