Refuge presents Reptant [live] + Adam Solomon at 9910

Refuge rings in the fall season with a couple of killer acts at our favourite basement abode 9910. Reptant aka Lou Karsh joins us from Australia for a special live set alongside stellar Montreal selector Adam Solomon.

Reptant aka Lou Karsh (Planet Euphorique|Salt Mines|Craigie Knowes)
Reptant the Lizard is an alias of Lou Karsh in which the music is believed to be made by a playful, not so evil, evil lizard that lives in the sewers below the city streets of Melbourne. The confinements of production are a conceptual and contemporary take on dance music with a nod to it's originators. Since the first release on London’s Tomahawk Records where the idea was born, Reptant has put sold out records on both Melbourne’s Salt Mines and more recently D Tiffany’s Planet Euphorique in Canada.

Adam Solomon (Open Channels|For Dreamers|Trichrome)
Montreal mainstay Adam Solomon has been heavily involved in hosting and promoting underground events throughout the city for many years. Solomon has held down DJ residencies at Le Salon Daome, Stereo/Stereo Bar, Bleury bar a vinyle and played alongside a myriad of acts such as Jeff Mills, Tin Man, Ben Klock, Octave One, Steve Bicknell and others.

Recent years have found Solomon busy in the studio releasing an EP on Trichrome alongside Chicaiza, a single on both Stardub and The Hive VA compilations and debuting his first solo EP on O.C.P. entitled Analog Expressions.
